AEP has done an excellent job considering the amount of damage that was done by this very unusal storm. My job allows me to travel through many rural areas and I saw the type of damage I would never have expected. AEP has obviously increased their efforts to keep their right of way clear but some property owners will not allow them to remove trees, only trim every few years. DUMMIES, allow the trees to be removed and ask AEP for their recommendation for trees that will not grow into a future power line hazard or suffer the consequencies. Just don't allow your own stupidity to cause your neighbors wo be without power.
