This is the most difficult decision i've ever had to make in my life. The police tactics were appalling. It was very hard to believe the interview was not a coerced confession. However when adrian stated while at samaritan to the nurse that his son was injured instead of sick it did lend enough credibility. also we could not understandhow if a child died of overwhelming infection. why they were able to transplant his organs. We finally came to the conclusion that the combination of sepsis and trauma caused his death though neither one on its own may have

The police tactics provided RESULTS like DWI checkpoints and hooker stakeouts. the police did their job WITHOUT fault

Thank you for having an open mind and delivering a verdict based on BEING IN THE COURTROOM, this was a horrible sad situation that never should have happened I agree the police tatics were horrible, 2 wrongs do not make a right, however I am sure your decision was hard and we were not on that jury so you know better than us, good job in a sad situation I am sure it was hard!

jurors did a great job in their decision! The police (particularly, Mason) did an excellent job in their/his interviewing. This IS how interviews are conducted. The hemorrhages of the brain of this little innocent baby CAUSED the sepsis. Common sense! Just exactly what the medical examiner (who performed the autopsy) testified to.
It will be very interesting, when all these people who think this animal is innocent, find out that this animal has been sexually abusing other little children, starting at the age of three. Please let his buddies know what he has been doing. They'll take care of the justice!

I would just like to say something off the record. First of all why do these people even think of creating all of these stresses in their lives. I mean if you can't afford to have all of these children in the first place why keep bringing them in the world? As i understand it aren't the other siblings now in foster care? The whole situation is just so tragic it's so upsetting. Now adays it's hard raising even just one child. There really is no excuse when we have so many methods of birth control?? I feel sorry for the children and especially that innocent baby.

Jenn you are absolutely correct. If you cannot afford a child then do not bring one into the world. One is expensive enough and it not up to the state, govt., foster program to raise your children.

Get real, again we agree. The police are paid to find out the truth and bring these animals to trial. That doesnt happen by playing nicey nice. They do what they have to do to bring justice to the victim. The police did a great job as did the jurors.

we did not believe the sepsis was caused by the trauma. We believe the trauma combined with the sepsis caused this childs death. we also concluded this child did not die from septic shock ( overwhelming infection ) due to the fact this childs organs were succesfully used in transplants. especially since the defenses own whitness/ expert dr kline said that would be highly unlikely. also the child for all intents and purposes whas already brain dead before the coagulopathy developed leading to us believing the subdural hemotobas were a result of trauma not septic shock

to devvy. thank you for agreeing with me. the only reason why i say that is because wasn't it said that he had lost his job and was having financial problems? I allso thought i had heard that one of those children was found in the middle of a very busy intersection in troy? I'm really not trying to sound like such a harsh person but i just don't understand why you keep producing child after child??? And these children are not being raised right. I worked with a girl once before who had allready had 3 children she broke up with the father and a fourth was on the way. Once i was joking about her being done with having anymore she litterally told me no that she wasn't. I had to put up with her coming in screaming and crying that she wasn't getting any sleep and here she is saying she wasn't done yet???? I'm sorry but yes you are right it isn't fair that they produce these children and allso think that it's everyone elses responsibility to take care of them.. None of these actions are the childrens fault they didn't ask to be brought into this world.. I have one son and i knew that was all i could handle and that was it. Like i said these people need to be responsible for themselves.

To Kaili,

The person i said that i worked with who had the four children one of them now attends a well known private school and i'm sure that if she is not getting full assistance for that she is at least getting a pretty penny of it paid for. When we had to send my son to a private school we paid for every cent of it out of our own pockets! I'm sorry but it really isn't fair you brought them into the world why is everyone else picking up the bill????

Oh no,I agree with you.
Our daughter goes to private pre-k program ,we pay for it,not anyone else,
but I do know there is a few there that goes for free, the school takes so many DSS,the director herself told me that one.Unfair to me too.

There are free Universal pre-k programs here in our public school system,
so I don't get why these kids can go to a private program when there is available public programs?

Kaili i love you hon but I disagree and this is only my opinion, cause i work in a preschool/daycare where many kids are funded by DSS but I feel who cares who pays ass long as the kids are receiving an education?
