I am a Redwood County Commissioner, and I thought the story was OK. Redwood County is also one of the top corn producing counties in Minnesota, and there are many sugar beet growers in the county, which could have also been a part of the story. The county is in the process of planning a new Law Enforcement Center; an ethanol plant is in the planning stages just a few miles west of Sanborn; a garbage burning facility that will supply steam to a company that manufactures Bio Diesel, is in the permitting stage; and there are many other projects taking place; so you can see that even though Redwood County is small in population, we are progressive.
