Bassfield officials indicted in surplus property probe

State Auditor Stacey Pickering announced that two individuals turned themselves in to the Rankin County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday following multiple count indictments.

used to be corruption was expected among small town politicos. now in the end days it looks like it has leached down to town officials and even former town officials. used to be the fire chief was one of the most trusted people in anybody's town.

we had a court clerk and a chief deputy with fingers in the pie, a candidate cheating in one election and acting a fool in another one. and all of them have pretty much gotten away with their crimes.

and now this. are these going to get away with a slap on the wrist, nothing at all, or maybe they'll go on and runner for elected office? I'm shaking my head. Stay tuned.

I can honestly state that one of these individuals has lied most of his life. If you delve in Matthew's past, you will find out that some of his credentials are not true at all.

I didn't run away...... I have strong evidence of Bill Matthews not being and doing what he says he has. Check the credentials about retired military. He never served one day. And embezzlement happened before.
