I have attended Putnam County Library board meetings since 2009. When the building process began, $500,000 was transferred from the general fund to the building fund as an emergency measure.

What happened to the large bequest to the library from an elderly couple. Did that go in someones pocket? Where was that money spent?. If I remember right the director and board put it in a rainy day fund. Seems like a lot of rainy days
Instead the director keeps asking for more and more from the taxpayers and commissioners. This couple left this money to help USE IT!!
If not? why is this money not being used.
