Put him a cell block with the rest of the thieves. Better yet, put him a federal lockup. He's no better than the next, other than being elected and trusted by the taxpayer's.

How stupid are you people? The last time I heard, we still have a system in this country where a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. But know, you idiots read something online
or in one of your news rags, and you buy it as fact.
Heck, I've seen two year old kids with more sense then what you blog warts have. If he violated the law, then it will come out. In truth, if Putnam County residents had elected one of the other guys that ran in the primary, this problem would not have happen.

Oh please! He's a crook, worse than a crook actually since he was a trusted/elected official. His resignation says it all. Next stop....prison.

Indiana is leading the country in corrupt police and public officials. Its time to call on the lawmakers to address this problem.

You contradict yourself. First, by even posting here you too are one of the Blog Warts. But you admit this problem wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been elected, so I guess you too are presuming his guilt before the legal system proves it. Quit talking like you are above the rest.

Whatever the opinion, the very fact that we have one proves that we still care and that society still demands good above evil. Mark is a good person that may have fallen short of his own principles. If indeed he is guilty of wrong doing, the punishment should fit the crime and we should feel compassion for him and his family. Temptation to misuse funds under your control would be great and we should expect our officials to be above reproach.
