My husband works for the US Border Patrol and was just called to do boat rescue in Presidio, Texas. We live in the Del Rio area and he will be doing air boat rescues there.

I am appalled that such flooding is the result of water released from the Luis Leon Reservoir in Mexico.
Was anybody consulted on this decision before such action was taken?
I find it hard to believe that the possibility of such monumental damage might have been a decision taken lightly by one (or a handful) of individual(s) without any regard to safety or well-being of residents down the river.
Presidio is my hometown and like everyone else, I am praying and hoping catastrophe is diverted.

This flood is the result of lots of rain on both sides of the border. Who ever is in charge of the release the of water flow is conscience of the impact it cause. Trust me.
