Just what we need.....another Poconos complete with funny accents, rude people and high taxes. Believe it or not, but most of us figured we were far enough to the west to avoid such aggravation.

Astronomers who visit Potter County's Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park and Preserve look at the stars, spend money in Potter County and take nothing away but fond memories and photos.
We don't have "funny accents" as many are regular Pennsylvania residents.
We aren't rude and we provide a revenue stream, something that Potter County needs...

To be honest I'd rather not advertise our quite little county. People here are honest, mind their own business, and help each other. Why ruin a good thing? I know tourism helps the local economy but the fact that there are less people here and wide open space is one of the reasons outsiders would want to visit :}
