The area where this happen is double track.
First train was stopped, the second train was told to pull up behind him. The second train, for whatever reason, was unable to stop and hit the rear car of the first train. When this happened, the cars buckled and spread out over the second track. The third train which was operating on the second track ended up in the middle of the derailment. Not enough facts have been released yet to determine exactly why the second train struck the first train.
