There is definitely something amiss at PCAC. For their director to say otherwise is just plain idiotic. It is NOT possible for that many "coincidences" to occur in a single subdivision. For animal control to tell someone their animal is not there when in fact it is indeeds there is uncalled for. I am of the firm belief that the employees are somehow making profit from these thoroughbred and pedigreed dogs....

Of course there is something wrong if that many animals getting out of their confined areas too. If your animal is getting out on a regular basis, then YOU need to take steps to stop it from happening. Never once in the 8 years I've had my dog has she gotten out of the back yard.

Sure animal control will lend you a trap to trap any animal. That way when your neighbors pet get caught in the trap and winds up a the county lock-up,they charge you a good fee to get your pet back. And who's to say that if a purebreed is caught-someone isn't paying a good fee for That pet not make it to the lock-up.Now I ain't saying that that happens-but what IF?

The family in Forest North who requested the trap is none other than the Mayor's daughter.

We,have small dogs. I keep them in MY yard. People need to teach their dog to stay in their own yard. How does someone steal a pet? My dogs are a member of my family. If I seen someone trying to steal my pet...you pet lovers know what I would do.

Are you for real about that being the mayors daughter? I use to have ron work on my cars but I didnt know that was who he was married to. I always just thought he was dating but thats been two years ago. Its kinda of weird how "special people" can get more help when needed but we all have to pay the same taxes

Patfrompolk, they were referring to the people who set the trap...not the one who lost the dogs.

Ron Clark is not married to the Mayor's daughter...Ron lives in Forrest North subdivision. Garlin & Pam Lewis Gamel are the ones who called the Polk Co. Animal Control to bring the traps & set them. Pam is the mayor's daughter. If I were Garlin & Pam...I would be afraid to live there...never know what someone might do to them to get back at them for doing this to so many animals in the neighborhood.

The traps should be against the law except when really needed and not at the request of any Tom,Dick& Harry who ask for one.My daughters cat was captured by a neighbor in one and had to spend a night out in the open with heavy rain and hail beating down on her.It just ain't right.

You should have kept your cat at home instead of letting it roam around.

What you mean is, look for the Rockmart and Cedartown papers to print a COVER UP for what they let slip to the public after some BIG DOG jumped their butts!!!!!

Don't see how it could be that wrong since one of the people who has an animal missing WORKS FOR THE JOURNAL!!!!
