Come on .
Let the folks enjoy the excitement of the moment .
The last time I saw this much excitement in town the GOAT MAN was passing through. Now that was a site to behold.
After all in a few days it,ll all be over and Cedartown will most likely go back into hibernation for a few decades .
And if you think the production crew and these movie greats are not use to crowds and admiring fans ,well!!
Live it up Cedartown show Hollywood your happy and excited their in your town.
And pay NO attention to the poster calling you RED NECKS.
It,s probably one of Cedartown,s phony want be a New Yorker P,ed OFF because he got rejected for a part in the movie !!!
Can,t wait to see J.M.C. on the big screen .
Well Done Cedartown.

Thanks for the memory !
When the Goat Man was close to your community the word went out far and wide that the Goat Man and his wagon ( goat powered Winnebago )pulled and pushed by his goat friends was near by. Back then the Goat Man ,who I was lucky enough to see on many occasions, was like the circus had come to town .
You would think some one was filming a major Hollywood movie like today .
After supper my folks would say well lets go down and see what the Goat Man is doing .
Those were the days before the world went and got itself all sophisticated .And people started calling each other names like RED NECK if they showed a little emotion about the unusual.
The kerosene lanterns and a huge camp fire lite up the darkness .And we all looked in amazement just waiting to hear the Goat Man answer the many questions everybody was asking.Like where are you from, how old are you,how many goats do you have , where are you headed and the most important question of all, when will you be back in Cedartown ?
We always carried him a pone of corn bread or something sweet if anything was left over.
We all felt a little sorry for this mysterious traveler.
The smell of goats and smoke is some thing one can never forget. I,m glad I was there to see it.
Oh, Well so much for days gone by.
Sorry I got off topic .
