This is not the time to add another tax burden to the backs of property owner in Cedartown.
When the city could use this money to repair it,s old falling apart infrastructure .
I hope the voters will remember the commissioners who voted to waste their tax dollars when election day rolls around !!

Has anyone ever actually visited the facility and spent some time seeing what they actually have available?

I have and I think that it is a wonderful resource for our county and the building is beautiful.

That being said, I think that the artifacts could be moved to another facility so that building could be sold or repurposed for something else.

The building itself has a lot of issues that would need to be addressed before it could be properly used. With the economy in the condition that it is this is not the time that we need to spend money to repair it just so that it could be used for it's current purpose.

This old building was only used because it was available . It,s time to let some lawyer make an office out of it and move on .
The depot on south main street is the logical place to display these historic items .
The place where visitors using the Silver Comet Trail and 27 can easily access it.
And it,s PAYED FOR already .
Come on city officials use your heads !

The museum is never open so who cares? Why pay to heat and cool a facility that is never open any way?
