They are not suppose to purge the voter list later than 90 days before an election, so people have time to appeal or register before an election. So why was this done this close to this election? Who is responible for this decision? Who has something to gain and has the power to make this happen? That's the questions I wold like answers too!

If its true that the list can't be purged within 90 days of an election, I'm curious as to why the Judge didn't give it class action and restore all the voters that were removed. Not everyone can afford to hire an attorney, and this would have been an oppurtunity for the Judge to help all concerned.

Who pays McFall's salary? The taxpayers. I think it's time for a change when the taxpayers are continually treated like dogcrap. It isn't in the taxpayers' interest to subject them to a lawsuit. If it was so important to purge them, the FIRST letter should have been certified mail like any official business is handled. Lewis may not have directed it but he is mayor and it happened under his watch - it's about time people stand up and take responsibility and quit passing the buck.

Those harping about Miller not wanting to give citizens the right to vote on Sunday alcohol sales should be more concerned about their county trying to take away someone's RIGHT to vote.

I don't believe this at all. Back in September there was a post that said 40 names were being looked at.

it grew to "over 500" challenged by the city if Rockmart according to the county attorney. Call city hall or the electoin board and ask them if you don't believe it.
