I hope no others who are eligible to vote have been taken off the voter list and denied their chance to vote!

Don't think McFall was the instigator here. Seems he was just defending the actions of the elections board.
Just wonder how many votes, if any, will be denied?

WELCOME TO POLK COUNTY!!

I agree McFall is inept - who thinks its justifiable to deny citizens their right to vote? Mail service in this area is atrocious. If I don't sign for it, I'm not responsible for it. END OF STORY

Seriously, welcome to Polk Co., Clint - good to have another sensible businessman in town.

I received the letter saying that I had been removed from the voter registration, it came to an address that I havent lived at since 2006, So I called and they said that I had to register again, but couldnt vote until next election, There sure are alot of people that got kicked off of the voter registration right before election time, hmmmm......

Lewis had NOTHING to do with getting back anyones vote! The two that got their vote back had to file in the superior court by themselves. I am sure that cost them money out of their own pocket as anything filed at superior court has a fee.
And it was NOT the election board that picked these names for removal, it was the city, led by Lewis, that had them removed.
Don't even know if Lewis showed up at the hearing.
Wait and see how many others show up tomorrow and find they have been removed.
Your totally idiotic post seem like you are trying to make others think you are the Brocks praising Lewis and therefore going to vote for him. NO FRIGGIN' WAY!!!

If I understand it right, a provisional vote doesn't count unless there was enough of those votes to make a difference in the outcome of the election. If they have enough provisional votes to make a difference then they will have a hearing on Thursday to decide if they will count them or not. I know people who were taken off the voters list and had a provisional vote, its better than no vote at all.

It's all obvious folks.Lewis and Pam spent hours on Saturday at the city building prior to this list of voter names were turned in.I'll bet not one name that was a sure Lewis vote got any letter of disqualification. That along with the pastor on Westside helping out with the black vote just might get Lewis in a run off.And that's just what he needs-to be run off.

The Mayor can not have anyone removed for everyone's information. This is an ignorant statement by notintheknow.

He can if he is the city and has a supervisory position over the one who is in charge if submitting the names.

They are not suppose to purge the voter list later than 90 days before an election, so people have time to appeal or register before an election. So why was this done this close to this election? Who is responible for this decision? Who has something to gain and has the power to make this happen? That's the questions I wold like answers too!
