Polk County Sheriff's Office has prescription drop off box
The Polk County Sheriff's Office bonding lobby is now home to a "big white box" that law enforcement officials are hoping will take a big bite out of a major problem-the disposal of unneeded or out of date prescription and over the counter drugs.

I would have a problem with turning over anything to any law enforcement agency in this county. With all that has happened with their employees and such.
No, not going to drop any bottle with my prescription drugs.
If you drop it in with your name and information intact then they have your information and what drugs you have been taking, that's private stuff.
If you remove your name and information then you could be arrested on the way over to drop the stuff off for not having it in a identified original container.
If you drop it off and there are still refills available then someone could conceivably get a refill.
If you drop them off then you risk your drugs being used by a bad cop as a "throw down" to bust some innocent person.
Nope, today's law enforcement is NOT the place to leave them.
Yep, good program but just ran by the wrong people.
If you have some prescription drugs then call your pharmacy or render them useless by other means prior to dropping them off.
I don't know how, maybe pour bleach or something on them.
You just can't trust cops, or anyone, any more.
