I found and was reading some letters my mother wrote in 1956-1959 while living in Pocahontas County and vicinity. We have some photos (http://shootingwithhobie.blogspot.com/2009/05... ) as well. I've been looking for other information and photos from that period for the towns of Durbin, Bartow, Huntersville and Richwood.
