Plea in McAlester girla s rape draws fire

McALESTER - Some state House members are trying to oust the judge who approved a one-year prison sentence for a man convicted of child rape .

What David Earls did, and the sentence handed to him by supposed educated people who are sworn to protect little children makes me sick. I am a school counselor and I have had children tell me of abuse, but freeze up when law enforcement become involved. Children need to be in a safe environment with people they trust present when they discuss their abuse. They should never have to face the abuser. That in itself is abuse. Children do not describe sexual intercourse unless they have watched it happen or they have had it happen to them. This young girl will have difficulty overcoming this abuse. So often sexually abused children will act out sexually in school and other settings, not realizing it is inappropriate behavior. I hope this state will pay for these children to receive counseling and relocation into a new home away from all the publicity. These children need a fresh start. Once again, lets pray for these poor children and all the other children being abused and neglected in Oklahoma. Furthermore, someone needs to get some backbone and make sure this man does not molest again. His every move needs to be monitored after they let him out to prey on children again. Final thought, did the DA check to see if there were more victims.

no, grandma, the DA didn't check to see if there were more victims. If he had, he would have had no less than dozens come forward. This man has been molesting children for at least 4 decades. I was one of his victims 35+ years ago, as were my two sisters. There is an article out in The Oklahoman interviewing one of his daughters, Denise, that he raped 35 years ago. I had two childhood friends that he molested during a sleepover at my house once. He was married to my mother. On another message board, one of his grandchildren came out and said that he has molested many of the children in the family. Either the DA didn't care to do the work, or is incompetent. Either way, he needs to go.

This is a total outrage when a Incompent D.A. and Judge who doesnt do there job right and given this sick piece of shit 1 yr in Jail and by the time he gets out he will do it again. And yes our state legislator need to improve more protection on our children from those sickos.
