Publicized suicides bring local attention to plight of gay teens

The death toll is up to five suicides of gay teens in the week since the media has been counting, but that is nothing new.

Umm all you have to do is look at the posts by people like you, GLBT folks get told by the relitious right that they are going to hell, that they are sinners, that they are evil, that they are pedos, that it should be illegal for them to be gay or trans, in most states it is illegal for them to marry the one they love, we get bullied about it, we can be fired from a job or denied employment because of who we are, we can be kicked out of or denied housing becasue of who we are, we tend to lose our family and friends becasue of who we are, we tend to be attacked because of who we are, and we get told that we should be someone that we are not. I know this as I am a suicide prevention specilist dealing with Transgender folks, as well as being Transsexual (male to female) and I am attracted to females so I am also a lesbian. Why dont you come back when you have done some research or you know what the hell you are talking about.

JessicaDawn - don't even try to reason with these guys. They are fowl mouthed, immature losers who have nothing better to do than insult and shock people. I feel sorry for people who can go through life so ignorant and uneducated. You know people like them are obviously missing something in their lives or they would not be such trolls. I'd be surprised if people like loosestool and 2nd tank even got a high school diploma under their belts, let alone any college to speak of. Just feel sorry for them and move on.
