11 horses found dead on North Texas ranch

Authorities in North Texas are investigating the deaths of 11 horses, possibly from a lack of food and water.

Those horses belong to Joe Landers of Joe Landers Inc. They are recipient mares for embryo transfers. Shame on him!!!

That is so sad. I have often wondered driving by why you would have that many horses and not do anything but hire someone to feed and water them. Why have them? He should have been checking on them and making sure they were taken care of.

Ahh, thats sad. And it looks really bad on whoever was supposed to have been looking after the horses. If they didnt want the responsibility of the horses, it only takes afew minutes to pick up the phone, and to say, "hey you need to find someone else, because I quit." But the owner should have been making an attempt to check on them.
