Chad Cottrell pleads guilty to murdering wife, stepdaughters

A former Parke County resident recently pleaded guilty to three charges of murder.

I am the aunt of these girls and for all of you that says only god has a right to kill him let me tell you what I believe... Where was god when he was torturing my girls... where was god when he was raping the girls. In almost 4 years where was god when the tears and pain was flowing so out of control you couldn't breathe. I love how everyone has there opinion when you have not lived through this. I dont want him to get the death pen. thats to easy. I want him to suffer. You want to leave it in gods hands so be it. THIS FAMILY WON'T

There are always circumstances to a case, I am unaware of this one I havent done a lot of research on it, but I do know Hamilton county let him off way too easy.. the punishment should fit the crime

Thank you for your comment, Its nice to hear someone agree with out acting like they know my family. I know we are not the only ones going through something like that. But when I hear the god excuse I get angry.

i was the friend of brittany and it hurt me so much when she died, because the last thing i said to her was that i hated her. and that day i was going to call her and tell her i was sorry. i miss her so much. i hope that she would forgive me

we all say things we shouldn't and we dont expect that it will be the last thing we say, Brit would not want you feeling guilty, she had a temper that one and she has said things she didn't mean either. just learn from your mistake, mistakes are suppose to happen
