Ha!! Wennet says " ..I've been a judge for 23 ½ years... with honor and integrity."

Does his integrity include the video of his drunken, lude comments at Peanut Island (a public place) about female breasts? He then had someone arrested for posting it on the internet!

His divorce file shows the guy also abused his wife.

GET THIS SLOB OFF THE BENCH! I've seen him in action and he's a leacherous creep and a lousy judge.

Should be not so quick to bash Wennet when the person he is running against has two bar reprimands in the past ten years. Everyone may want to consider that, and what colleagues think of the sitting judge and his opponent, in considering who is the best for the bench in PBC.

Judge Richard Wennet, whom I use to date, abused his power and had me arrested for taking a video of him on Peanut Island where he was caught talking about women's breasts. The tape was uploaded to You Tube and I was locked up in jail for almost 3 months and charged with 3 felonies even though taking a video in a public place is not a crime. He abused his position and had Palm Beach County deny me my human rights. He is being investigated by the JQC. Read more in my book at http://www.powerandcorruptioninpalmbeachcount...

A bar reprimand is better than falsely imprisoning an ex girlfriend for something that is not a crime. Wennet has locked up his son for hours in jail too, trying to teach him a lesson. The lesson is, I have no feelings for anyone and will put your life in danger if it suits my whims. I was locked up for almost 3 months jail. Wennet is a horrible human being and a disgrace to the bench.

The problem with jqc complaints filed is that they are not always public. We dont know what has been filed against a judge unless its a formal proceeding. So a judge may receive many that others never find out about.

I can tell you that they are investigating Judge Wennet because of the charges he brought against me and a former FBI Investigator contacted me and I gave hours of testimony to him. The JQC will inform me of their decision when the investigation is complete. But you are right, their decision to sanction Wennet or other actions may remain confidential depending upon their discipline and Judge Wennet's reaction to their findings. To date, I have not been notified of their decision.

Doesn't the Minnesota v. White ruling by the US Supreme Court apply in Florida? When did Florida leave the US? I would think candidates for judge have some leeway to speak on lots of issues, criticize incumbents, etc.

When I drove out the corrupt State of Florida, I took a picture crossing the border and put the following comments under that photo: "Praise the Lord! I'm back in the United States!" Florida is run by a corrupt bunch of "Southern Good Ole' Boys" who think they are above the law. So far, that is true, but I'm still hopeful someone in the US will pull back their reins and remind them what the Constitution says. God willing...

I read the recent article regarding the restrictions on judicial races. The article doesn’t mention that there are no such restrictions in almost all other states in judicial races. How else can the voters learn why they need to replace poorly performing judges. These restrictions do the public a disservice and ignore the reality, that even though we still elect some of our judges- not everyone we elect is suited to be a judge-not everyone has the knowledge, judicial temperament or possesses the fairness and impartiality needed to be a judge. It is obvious from numerous newspaper articles, appellate decisions, polls and surveys that Diana Lewis, a poorly performing first term elected judge is not suited to be a judge and needs to be replaced. Any judge who is unfair, biased or prejudiced, like Lewis must be replaced. Everyone who comes into the public’s courtroom has an absolute right to be treated equally, fairly and impartially, which Lewis does not do. The voters have the right to know about these poorly performing judges, to read about them in our newspapers and to talk about them, without restriction. What makes judges any different? This is our chance as voters to make a change-to make a difference-to correct a wrong?

How can we find out about judicial candidates, besides from their websites? I'm talking about voting records, and other information that would reveal that they are "poorly performing judges"? Thanks.

If you go after one JUDGE, it's a insult to all of them. Just ask one. They don't sleep together,
do they..........

What our dear Ms. Domotor fails to mention is WHY she would secretly videotape someone in the first place? Surely in your hours of testimony you must have worked that in somewhere? And while you are speaking about what a horrible human being HE is, have you checked the mirror lately?
For the record, I've never met him. I don't even live in florida. But 3 minutes of research under your (Julie domotor) name reveals multiple incidences of craziness. Whatever drugs you are taking, you might want to increase the recommended dosage.
