I'm gonna bet dollars to doughnuts nothing happens. The last chief stole apr. 30k and only spent three months polishing the Cumberland county sherrif's boots.

It is frustrating to get the whole story. There were several additional points omitted from Amy's news article in the Herald Citizen, recently.
One is that the chief's dozer was actually in a repair shop for approximately a year and they were having no luck getting parts for it. Another omission is that there was a town-owned crane type vehicle ALSO there on the chief's property, to be used to attach "the blade". That could have been done right in town if both vehicles were kept here on city property. There would not have been the need to take the dozer to Overton County to assemble it. Those are two facts about it that seem to have been omitted. If ALL the facts are put out for everyone to see it becomes a lot easier to understand both points of view. People can make their own decision. If people are instead "lead" to one side or the other of the debate, there is an effect on whether or not they will show interest to the DA; and THAT show of interest or lack of it may affect the decision to prosecute or not.

You know why would they put the blade on the dozer out at the chiefs land and then haul it back to the city garage ,when it's to big to haul it to Monterey from the place they bought it from? They couldn't haul the dozer to Monterey with the blade on it cause it took up the whole road that tells you how stupid the DA is!

How does that make the DA look bad? Do you mean if he decides to not prosecute then he will look "bad"?
