Motorcyclist killed when bike runs off road in Otter Tail County

A man was killed Tuesday night when his motorcycle ran off the road in Otter Tail County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Motley, I know that most articles about cycle accidents do make mention of whether a helmet was being worn, but why do you assume it should. Afterall, Minnesota does not have a helmet law requiring it unless you are a minor, or have just received your permit. In addition, wearing a helmet does not guarantee anything.

I agree, so he must have had one, otherwise they would have made sure they said....in order to push the agenda to force helmets.

The Star Tribune states on their web-site he was wearing a helmet.

I had his Speech class and it was one of the best ever. He will be missed!

My point was, they always mention it, even though it's not required. Anyhow, it was a terrible accident.

This man must have been a wonderful Teacher,I watched his students weep real tears for the good man, It was sobering to hear the former students at Cooper talk of their friend and teacher with such grief. Our sympathies to his family and his students. This is a felt loss.
