The sheriffs boat patrol on Goodyear Lake SUCKS!!!They waste their staff and resources to show off the boat rather than useing it for patrol.
The county rep runs around with a sheriffs hat on telling everyone what a good job the sheriff is doing with staff and resources.(CRONEYISUM)

Danger!! The sheriffs boat does not patrol north of the Portlandville bridge anymore.Boat this area at your own risk. Any emergency,complant or NYS boating violation will go unanswered by water in this area.The sheriff used his staff and resources to install equipment on the boat that keeps it from getting under the bridge (DUMB). Speeders,BWI, boating violators and the sheriff don't care about you, your boat or your property in this area.

We should be greatful for our wonderful sheriff. I'm sure he has a good reason for no boat patrol most weekends this boating season on Goodyear Lake. Aug 15 & 16 (Goodyear Lake Days) was a no show weekend, but what a great show they put on for everyone on Monday Aug 17. I'm sure he will do better next season 2010.

There has been almost no weekend boat patrol on Goodyear Lake this season. You can see boaters openly drinking alcohol while driving their boats plus numerous dangerous boating violations.
On Monday Aug 17 the sheriffs dept and the Milford fire dept put on a wonderful SHOW. They were practice drilling pulling bodies out of the lake. I guess they figured with the lack of weekend patrol this drill was necessary. You can see pics of this drill on the sheriffs web site.
