John Beaver IV and Ralph Hernandez spotted the fire and alerted 911 services, they then kicked in the front door of the burning house and removed the elder woman from the burning home, They then attempted to remove a 2nd person from the bedroom area but were over come by flames and smoke. when fire fighters arrived and threw down thier hoses the boys continued to try to extinguish the flames until firefighters shut off water, they requested medical help from ambulance service and were refused, they were then put off site and sought out thier own medical treatment and ambulance service to jane phillips hospital in Bartlesville where they were treated and released. family members on site thanked them but I am dismayed why the 911 responders did not help these two boys when requested. Im grateful that the 2 boys were able to save at least one person, but when firefighters throw down water hoses and run away it leaves you wondering why they werent more aggressive in the rescue of 2nd person. My condolances go out to the family, tragic event and I have to say when john called me and described the unfortunate incident I was shocked by details described. My thanks goes out to these 2 boys for thier rescue service and thier attempt to help rescue the 2nd person who perished by fire. By putting thier lives at risk by entering the burning home they were able to save one. THANK YOU JOHN AND RALPH FROM JOHN BEAVER III !!!!!!!

I would first like to give my condolences to the family of the man who was killed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. And to my cousin John Beaver and to Mr. Hernandez I wish to say that what they did was something so great it is surely beyond words to that family, they saved their loved one. I am upset to have learned how John and Ralph were treated by the emergency team on site. This really upsets me to know that people that have jobs to help people, whether it is a job that they truly enjoy doing because they like that they are helping people or whether it is just because they are getting paid to do it, either way IT IS YOUR JOB! YOU DONT GET TO PICK AND CHOOSE WHO SHOULD RECIEVE HELP and you sure the hell dont refuse help to someone who was a hero in the situation! I am truly proud of you John as is the rest of the family. God Bless John and Ralph!

they were good to save the grandmother, but got in the way of firefighters, did not call 911 and made the fire worse by breaking out windoes. to bad ralph assaulted a cop four days later and left the cop off the job with injured shoulder.

how dare anyone say anything about how they busted out windows, they were the first ones on the seen, they went into a house that was on fire, with stuff falling from the ceiling, they couln't make it to save the other persons life from the inside so they tried to do so from the window. This all took place before the fire department showed up. How can anyone blame them. Then you want to disuss how one of them was arrested 4 days later, have you heard of PTSD. It is killing him because he could not save Dustin, he got drunk, no the smart thing to do, made some bad decisions and went to jail. So what, when he stopped there was smoke comming out of the attic vent, who else would have kicked in the door based on just black smoke and an attic vent????Not many Lord forgive me for saying so but, god rest Dustin, him and his dog were found deceased, he was problay already gone before anyone even seen him.( Im Sorry family). Ralph is not perfect and suffers from some social disorders, so what HE DID WHAT HE COULD DO!!!!! He did take a swing at the cop, but had no contact, how and the hell does that hurt his shoulder, like that cop dont let other persons violate the law and go free because of who they KNOW???????? On top of that Ralph was fine until a firefighter on the seen blamed Ralph and John for Dustins death because they busted windows out. Do soldiers get blamed for thier actions when they come home suffering from PTSD????? No because they are offerd treatment, which was explained to the cop, what was his solution, Ralph didnt know anyone special so lets take him to Jail instead of offering to get him help. The WHOLE story is heart breaking from anyones perspective.

Yes they were denied treatment from pawhuska ambulance, Iknow of two other incidents where the dark headed woman with the nose ring misteated a patient, its sad she gets to keep her license. God bless everyone involved in such a sad time...
