Thayer receives $4.25 million for wastewater projects
The city of Thayer has received $4.25 million in grants and loans of federal stimulus funds through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for wastewater treatment improvements, according to the agency.

does this mean that the city will be turning back 4.5 million of the sales tax that we passed for the poop processing plant?

no, all that money should be going towards a new and improved sewage treatment plant and if there is any left over, maybe over to the police department
