Isn't that something for you to say then you have the ordasity to attach Clemson Universities name to it! you need to be thrown out of school. But remember GOD sees and hear all! Be careful GOD has a funny way of making things happen you just might be next! But the only difference is that when judgement comes you go land your Azz right in he11.

First off let me start by saying my heart goes out to W. Howell's family and the Orangeburg County Sherrif's Office. ( I still love you guys...Even though I not there any more. Stay strong and continue to do what we do. We will always be the front line no matter what anybody says. We do what a lot of individuals are affraid to do.) Now everyone on here thats going back and forth at each other please stop. Think of the possiblity that his family members are checking these comments. The comments are really offensive. I worked beside Howell for 3 years he was a very kind man, and your actions are really offending me....so imagine how they would make his Family feel

May the peace that passeth all understanding be with the Howell family and the Orangeburg Officers. Have had this happen in our dept and I know what they are experiencing. When your partner is gone, you feel as your family member has gone. Keep your head up Howell family members, for he has now gone to reap his rewards for the services rendered here. Peace.

I find your comment "that comes with the line of work" a bit unsettling. I am IN NO WAY questioning your sorrow over the incident. I just wish that you hadn't made THAT comment.

A Part of America Died
Somebody killed a policeman today,
and a part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect,
will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect who shot him will stand up in court,
with counsel demanding his rights,
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids,
and spend alone many long nights.
The beat that he walked was a battlefield too,
just as if he'd gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half mast,
to his name they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today,
It Happened in your town or mine.
While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors,
a cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street,
and he stands at each new rookie's side.
He answered the call, and gave us his all,
and a part of America died.
You or someone posted this on another "story" about this man. We can NOT hear it repeated too often when such a tragedy occurs. Thank you.

Thank you. That needed to be said...and I agree with you 100%. God rest "Howell's" soul. At least we believers know where he is today!!
