So glad Trooper Brown is recovering. This could have had a much different ending. I am glad he kept his wits about him and was able to survive this attack.

I'm so thankful that Cpl. Brown is going to be okay. It's a scary story but I'm glad he lived to tell it.

JUST WHY IS THIS INDIVIDUAL MORE IMNPORTANT THAN NON-BLACK OFFICERS WHO PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE EVERY DAY--ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE CRIME RATE FOR NON-LAWABIDEING BLACKS AND HISPANICS!

Congratulations brother in Gray! You have seen the elephant! You did well. Continue to train and be ready to react again. Thanks for holding the line.

Nobody is saying he is more important than anyone. This is newsworthy because he was shot in the line of duty and survived. He deserves some recognition and most normal people would be happy for him.
His race is not an issue to me or other normal people.
You are clearly a moron. I don't even know why I responded to you.

Bring on the Dash Cam Video of this event. Let the public see that it is the violater that usually brings on the unusual actions during a traffic stop.

ETV should have several weeks of shows of the everyday bravery and professionalism of our gray heroes exhibited on the dash cams. We have seen enough of a very very few bad incidents repeated adnausem by the media. This is a missrepresentation of the heroic job they do day after day.

My prayers and good wishes go out to the Highway Patrolman. They have enough to tolerate at HQ. They don't need to be shot at when they are on the road. May God bless you brother. Just remember HE spared you for a reason. Keep up the good work and keep those cameras rolling. We don't want to have another Maj Disaster! God Bless

And just where di you see that anyone thinks he is mor eimportant than any other officer? Quit trying to start trouble on what has managed to be an otherwise positive forum. He is a brave officer who did what he needed to do to survive. Who cares what his race is? What matters is that he was able to go home to his family at the end of the day.

What a tragedy! People don't realize how fast they can change a moment, one wrong choice can change the lives of so many. The ones hurting are the ones left behind. In reading this article, one bad choice, of just changing lanes on the interstate, what a tragedy that could have been prevented. My heart goes out to the families for their lose.
