OK, the woman refused to cooperate with the authorities (probably because she was terribly ashamed and/or fearful for her life as victims of sexual violence often are), but the dirty cop still plead guilty and got nothing more than a slap on the wrist? A slap on the wrist for raping a woman, for abusing his authority as an officer of the law, for those things he only got probation and a small fine??? Outrage!

What the heck is that kind of BS response??? Your jokes aren't even cute. This has nothing to do with race your dipwad... a woman was raped and a dirty cop got away with it. I wouldn't care if he were pink with purple and green polka dots... his race is completely irrevelant to this story.

I agree with you AMY... his/her post wasn't even worth your response.

It's just a matter of time for this character will soon join his/her buddies on the sideline looking on wanting to post.... but, can't.... give him the BIG "I" and some rope... they always hang themselves.

So you are expressing outrage over an assumption you made about why the woman didn't cooperate? According to other reports, the woman wouldn't show up at court, and was not cooperative when they talked with her. Of course I am not trying to victimize the agitator. The woman was a victim of a horrific crime, but this was a very good opportunity for her to do her part. I'm not leaning either way, but this man served as a corrections officer, highway patrolman and in the military for 2 tours in Iraq. He now has no job, and must serve probation for 2 years (which is no picnic). The sentence isn't as outrageous as you want it to be.

This is hard to understand that this patrolman only gets probation. I know someone that was given two years probation for sending two pornagraphic photos over the internet to a 16 year old and this patrolman kidnapes, rapes a woman along with abusing his authority. WOW!

She did not need to show up he plead guilty so he should be in jail for rape.Police officers are who we go to for help not the ones who hurt us. There is NO!!!!!! excuse for what he did and he should got to prison for as long as the law allows. This just goes to show when a woman is in a car alone and a cop turns his blue lights on her, go to a very public place before you stop. You can't trust anyone!!!!!!

I do not assume to know anything about this woman, but I do work a lot with victims of sexual violence, and I can guess about reasons why she was not cooperative. Until a man has forced his penis into one of your orifices, you need to just shut up. You cannot know the pain, fear, and humiliation that one suffers as a result of being sexually assaulted. You cannot know the impact that sexual assault has on a person (man or woman) for the rest of that individual's life.(By the way, yes, I'm assuming you're one of the people in this world lucky enough to have never been raped because one who had would most likely not be such a jacka$$.)

I don't care if the guy served 1000 tours in Iraq. Did you know that there is a big problem with men coming back from Iraq and raping women? Did you know they are doing it to their own female comerades/soldiers as well as to innocent Iraqi women on the streets of Iraq? Nothing makes rape right. If he liked his job so much and wanted to keep it, he shouldn't have raped a woman, especially not in his patrol car. He admitted guilt so you didn't need the survivor's testimony in the first place.

Whoooooooooa SPOTTY, I don't know "BO" (lol)... I think this girl know's what she is talking about... I have to tell you, I agree with everything she is saying and the one that really jumped out at me was "the fact" yes, he placed himself in this situation... he obviously wasn't thinking about his job, and all his accomplishments when he became this authority predator. You can't argue with this LADY!!

This is outrageous . He is left to be a sexual assault threat for other ladies and children ! WLTX , how about post his mug shot so we can be watching out for this sicko . I can't believe his punishment . He must have slipped some money to someone to get off this light. He will get justice one day !
