I totally agree with you but for many of these folks in these blogs, they don't care when Black Parents fight for things they know would better their children's education or demand community policing. It's usually dismissed as a "waste of money" or stupid questions such as "Why should this be mandatory in the schools and, why should we have to pay for this with my tax money?" They don't care and then have the nerve to "itch" and moan, about "Black" crime. I encountered this first hand as both a professor and a consultant. It was sickening to hear the dissenters (mostly white).

FYI- I WAS a victim of a crime, I was robbed, and stabbed not by two "ghetto" thugs but innocent suburbian(not my) white kids. At first, they (like some white parents) said they watched a rap video--turned out to be utter BS. Their motive was actually needing money to pay off another friend's meth debt. No media attention was given and these bastards and their mums and dads used a card that we white folks like to play to avoid the can and that is the "mentally disturbed" card. The only thing that was disturbing, was listening to the judge order psychological evaluations, the DA charging as juveniles (not adults) and then watch this same DA charge two black kids who committed a robbery at knifepoint as adults with their faces plastered on tv. It's not White people that Blacks are p.o'd with and no, they're not excusing violent crimes, it's the DOUBLE STANDARDS that angers most of them and I don't blame them one bit!
