Possible Break In Slaying Of UNC Student

Police investigating the slaying of the University of North Carolina's student body president may have a break in the case, a prosecutor said Wednesday.

It is sad that what seems to be a wonderful person lost their life in a senseless act of violence. I hope their is justice for Carson. Whats even more sad, or scary, their are people walkling around with no sense of love for others and their lives.

Eve Carsons murder may seem senseless to you and me, but to the killer it made a lot of sense.
He wanted to steal her money and her car.

He could care less about her life, or yours. Thats not important to someone like him. He simply didn't think that he would be caught. And, if he hadn't been caught he would never have had a moments remorse.

please!!..my sorrow to the families of these young women,..let them rest,.../..now,..find the origin of these animals that did this,..who are there parents??,..this could have been done by white,hispanic,asian,..or any other ethnic people,..the fact that it was done by black men,.. just shows there is a continuous social break down in the black community,..go on the web,.and study who commits these senseless robberies that turn into death,..afican americans,..these animals that did this must be put to death with out hast,..please teach a lesson to our youth that this should never happen again!!

Why don't just come out and say what what you really what to say.
People of all colors kill. I don't like street thugs, or murders, but what your trying to promote in your selective examples of women being murdered is unfair and yup, racism.
I pray my daughter is not next, but I fear you more then these thugs because Hatred can kill us all.

Im angry to, but killing them doesnt change anything. Some people are too ignorant to even understand the consequences of their actions. If your really fed up with this like I am, you have to really care about the people who are at risk in commiting these crimes. When I was tired of crime, I just started mentoring kids in local the neighborhoods. I can only pray that being a father figure to kids who are born into a world with the odds against them can help them see the power of believing in your self, and have hope.

why does race matter? the point of the matter is that someone with the potential to ( and actually already has) make a difference in this world was killed in a senseless act of violence.

this all comes down to the lack of education available to these young men....shame on the bush administration.

These two guys were looking for anyone who had money. Criminals look for victims based on Vaunerbility, not color. You talk about Jessie Jackson and your right, they do get exposure they dont deserve. However, if this women had been a brunnette, Latin, or black,or her murderer had been the same color, no one would have even cared. Sadly, people are murdered everyday, and the news reports what ever can get your emotions going. I hate to admit it, but if OJ's wife would have been Asian, or black, no one would have cared. The media choses sensational news that people will read and discuss. The media is still talking about the Halloway girl. Your stat is empty on interracial crime. Even if victim and criminal are the oppisite colors, that does not make it a case for racism. In tourist cities, they rob the person that is least likely to fight back, or bring attention to their crime. Most white people are not racist, and most black people are not racist, though ignorant black and white people will make it seem like everyone outside their race is wrong.Most crimes are induced by jealousy, anger, greed(money), power, or criminal defined survival'robbery'.
