Good news. I think she and her lawyers figured she'd be convicted. Overwhelming evidence, dying declarations.
Seems like she just refused to accept the marriage was over and wasn't going to let anybody else "have him". Why the marriage ended doesn't matter. Whether or not he had a gf doesn't matter. There is NO excuse for what she did.

This way saved her children the additional heartache of a trial.

My prayers go out to her children and the remaining family members.

it would be such a shame if she is not held accountable for her actions. she clearly committed this crime because he wanted out of the marriage. taking another's life because she could not have what she wanted in hers;sad.

Eight times? Maybe the man committed suicide?

But in a welfare setting like central Virginia the prosecutor's worry is well founded.

he is a school teacher!!! WOW. There is another case pending there where the school teacher was murdered by her husband. Her body found laying in the road. It appears her hubby had beaten her to death, stomping her with his boots.
I guess they will make a plea agreement for him.

No, SHE was a teacher. HE was an investigator for the sheriffs dept.
I knew the victim in the other case you speak of where the kindergarten teacher was beaten to death by her husband. If they accepted a plea from him, and were assured he'd serve a long prison sentence, it would be worth it. But I kind of doubt he is man enough to accept responsibility for what he did to Justine.
