Are you kidding me - it took 21 years to "solve" this case? Are the dates correct??

I don't get it. Did police not interview her step-kids (AKA the murdered guy's biological kids)? Were they not upset about their father dying and it didn't occur to them over the last 20 years that they helped moved his body and their stepmom's story was completely bogus?

Something isn't adding up here. Verrry fishy.

I was wondering the same thing. The kids were young then but I think by 20 I would be saying "hey wait a minute..."

you're right that something is missing. My guess is that he was an abusive husband. Back in those days, women didn't have much protection from domestic abuse.

Maybe he was a bstrd and was beating an molesting them and as small children they were just glad to be rid of the horror. And the stepmom didn't tell so she could stay out of prison and continue to protect and take care of the kids. It's obvious children have been her priority. Not saying this excused the killing/ aiding. But may explain motive and silence.

And it took 21 years for the stepkids to step up and finally say something was fishy? They must have feared this lady bigtime.

Lily, always nice to see you on here.

The way I understand it, she kept the children from being interviewed by LE. We have to remember this was "back in the day" and if parents did not allow children to be interviewed, they weren't.

I want to know why it took 20 yrs. to solve this case...the kids were old enough to remember dragging his body into the garage...maybe he was an abuser and they were just glad to be rid of him...??? I guess we'll find out in another 20 yrs...

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
