You are correct, that is not fair. You should have received a ticket. I believe it is a $50 fine.

NYS is broke because of scammers like you. Do the right thing and pay up....

Fact is, usually cops have permission to bend a few traffic laws… like cell phones, seat belts, speed limits, red lights, etc. From what I’ve been told, it’s department by department. Whoever is in charge makes the call.

So you can send $50 cash or money order (no checks please) to:
David Patterson
c/o Ripping NYS Off Fund
69 Hypocrite Ave.
Albany, NY 13081

Or if you feel ambitious, just pull over and hand it to your local crackhead. Save some time and postage, cause that’s where its going anyway….

<quoted text>I was in law enforcement for many years. I saw new york state troopers getting very drunk at a bar. they were in plain clothes but it was obvious especially when I went out and saw the unmarked car in the parking lot. It is time to make it a felony for law enforcement who are above .06 bac. I think cops should have breath and drug testers in their patrol car so every day they work they get tested. Cops are the worst offenders when it comes to alcohol and drugs. If they want the job they should have no problem being tested for alcohol and drugs every day they work.
so true!!! they are scum!! i hate cops!! they arrest people for stupid stuff. they arrested this old black guy he wasnt doing anything but drinking a beer out of a paper bag. stupid!! but yet they dont do anything if you call them about your stuff being stolen.

Wow,“I can’t even could the number of times” How about: I can’t even count the number of times.
Also “And I no he is driving to”. How about: And I know he is driving too.
