My deepest condolences to her family and may your soul rest in peace and her friend will have a speedy recovery. County road 36 in that area is a very narrow and dangerous road! If you speed around the corner you'll lose it big time especially with an SUV.People are driving faster and faster for the past 10+ years and with cell phones, texting. These will add to the danger on the roads. The speed limit signs are useless and especially in the country roads where cops can't be everywhere! Who knows? This accident may of been caused by her speeding but also it's a fact that some idiot drivers are always come out of the side roads in front of you and drive at 20mph just to tick you off!

I'm so sorry that I thought it was an SUV and it was her driving! But the news that came to her family was definitely very sad and tragic. Back from 1982 to 1991 my family had 3 loved ones that died. So my deepest sympathy is with her family and words can't make it better.

Your tabloid comment regarding "he was on furlough from the Rochester Correctional Facility" was not "news"...but titillating tabloid b.s... It has no bearing on the unfortunate occurrence. This type of cheesy reporting is common to channel 10 news..which is why i don't watch your channel

krawczyk on furlough means EVERYTHING when you look him up and find he's had 2 felony DWI's. And what the hell is furlough? According to the info on DOC webpage, he should have still been behind bars, not behind the wheel. That's NYS AGAIN for you, letting these idiots out early to continue terrorizing the community.

You people with such obscure opions do not know even know the character of either victims, keep your negative comments to yourself. You have no insight of the facts. You have no ideal what the loving families are going through. Your comments are not consoling just brutal.

If & when anyone knows what the real 'truth' is....PLEASE tell.

I think this site & all news sites should elimate the opportunity to 'post' comments especially for such emotional, distressing situations.

Obviously there is some kind of fued going on and that is very very very sad.

Elizabeth, to you & your sister, Charminbaby & all other loved ones, I can feel your pain. I was the victim of a drunk driver years ago. I have a permanent disabilty because of him. That's back before the "tough dwi laws", and he got a slap on the wrist. But ya know what? The only ones gaining from the "tough dwi laws" are the insurance companies & nys budget from big fines & high insurance. The penalties DO NOT compensate for the suffering of innocent victims; too much plea bargaining. what's-his-face (probably krawczyk) accused me of not knowing the facts. Go to www.docs.state.ny.us or yahoo search nys docs and you can look him up. he started serving time 2/21/00 for 2-6 years for dwi/drugged driving 2nd & 3rd offense (which means he probbaly had "misdemeanders" before)+ driving w/o a license. he got out who knows when & back in 4/03 & then was released 8/5/05 after max 4-1/2 years. Then he went in again 11/24/07 (new DIN#) for same crimes 2-1/4 -7 years. Earliest release date was supposed to be 3/24/10. So what the hell as he doing out??? If this was my sister/mother/daughter, I would hire a lawyer who would ask Patterson wtf he was doing out. And if I couldn't find/afford a lawyer who would do this, I would ask Patterson myself WTF WAS HE DOING OUT??? So, I'm not sure what "facts" he thinks I'm missing, but I think I've got it: nys released a potential murderer, and he murdered. May Lynn rest in peace, and my best wishes to you & all of Lynn's loved ones.

I would like to begin by saying that I am so sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. However, I personally know Mike. I would like everyone reading this post to know just how much Mike loved Lynn. She was all he ever talked about and look forward to a loving future with. It is true that Mike struggled with an alcohol addiction and was finishing up a prison bid for this crime. However, what is not known is if Mike truly was driving the vehicle on that fateful afternoon. What is known is that Mike will spend every minute of everyday missing and loving Lynn, alone. To Pennylane you need to get the whole story before pointing fingers. The furlough that Mike was on was given to him due to exempliary behavior and his charge. Mike was only released on a daily basis for a few hours and was required to return daily to the correctional facility. Upon his return he had to give a urine and a brethalizer test before he was re-admitted into the facility. Know what it is you are pointing fingers at...the next accident might involve someone you know and/or care a lot about. Drinking and driving goes on everyday in our world...many of these drunk drivers are neighbors, work collegues, family members, or friends. My question to you Pennylane is.....Are all addicts criminals? and is throwing them in prison FOREVER the answer???????

to all that read this!
whenever these two people were together driving in a car it was a known fact that mike did all the driving .
so why is mike denying it?
he was on furlough and would be held on crimnal charges meaning more time in prison.
mike didn't have a license to drive either.
he's a crimnal right to the letter.
lock his *** up and throw away the key!
gov pattersons furlough program makes no sence what so ever and should be stopped.

What an idiotic statement. "Eliminate" the opportunity for free speech. Move to North Korea if you really believe that. If you don't like it then don't come on the blog!

It would be a cold day in hell I'd get into a car with my guy (or anyone else) if he was not allowed to drive. I'd want to protect myself as well as the other person.

People, this was a very tragic unfortunate accident, the investigation will probally take months. If the woman was driving, are you going to call it suicide and attempted murder?
