Oklahoma County sheriff's race candidate seeks recount after loss
Darrell Sorrels, a former sheriff's deputy who works as a contract security officer for the U.S. Marshals Service, filed papers Friday seeking a manual recount of the race results.

There needs to be a recount. There is no way that Whetsel won. I don't know anyone that voted for him. He is as cheesy as his patronizing remark about the democratic voter's of Okla. He has held the position way to long and Okla. needs a change. He stinks.

WEll about 30% of the voters agree with you. That means 70% don't agree and feel Whetsel is doing a good job. Recounts are are supposed to be used in a close race. In a close race absentee ballots can make all the difference, causing a candidate to ask for a recount. This was not a close race! Whetsel won by a HUGE margin. In short you are allowed to think and feel however you want but in America, Majority Rules! One last thing... Now you know someone who voted for Whetsel.
