The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act appropriated $7.2 billion for the Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service (RUS) and the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) to expand broadband access and adoption in communities across the U.S., which will increase jobs, spur investments in technology and infrastructure, and provide long-term economic benefits.

The Federal Government has a goal of making high-speed Internet, also known as broadband, available to millions of Americans who do not have access to it today. Eligible households that qualify now have the opportunity to get high-speed Internet by satellite at a significantly reduced price. This limited-time opportunity is made possible with the direct assistance of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA or Recovery Act) established to help bring high-speed Internet access to unserved areas of the country.

In our area the offer will end appr. by End of May!
