EDITORIAL: Destin is suddenly camera-shy
The most telling objection to "red-light cameras," which some cities have installed at traffic signals allegedly to photograph scofflaws, is that they have less to do with safety and more to do with padding government treasuries.

We do not need this in our town Destin is a awesome city with less government intrusion then most and that's the way we citizens want it if police want to write tickets they can a little old fashioned police work and go out and catch them. We don't live in a liberal town so we don't have most government intrusions.

I personally have seen these camera,s take pics of folks taking a legal right hand turn.
