Why exactly are they commemorating a lynching in which 4 people were killed in a completely different time? I just don't get re-enacting this horrible crime for any reason, they all look like fools on the news every year. Maybe Mr. Young will talk some sense into these reverse bigoted idiots running around with KKK taped to their hats...Recite a famous speech from MLK or Lincoln? Talk about how far we've come as a race(yes I'm black) and a nation...WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT!!! Anything positive instead of negative for once would be nice from these people. I'm sure all the participants in this crime are deceased by now and what good could possibly come in finding out their names? It's over people, move on, remember the fallen, but get a life for goodness sakes. As the unfortunate victims found out, life's too short.

Exactly right. Wallowing in an ancient and heinous practice does nothing helpful. This is so last century.

omg, you people really have no idea why Young will speak and why people will march? This crime, this horrendeous tragedy has never been in a court room and nobody has been found guilty due to good old home cooking in Walton County.Every administration has swept the last lybching in America under the carpet, too dirty to handle but there are still people out there who remember, who have been there and who saw the slaughter of four human beings and an unborn baby. You, moving forward in Wincer, need to buy the book and maybe a few tears will drop when you read of the killing of the pregnant woman.

Lets solve this crime, it is long overdue

Geez who cares anymore? I think it is sad that so many people like to dwell on the past rather than move forward. Nothing better to do? Get a job and focus on your family. This was a tragic event but wasting more and more time will solve nothing but only add more hate to the fire that is already blazing. GTF over it already!

Is there a link between racism and abortion!? Let's all judge for ourselves by exploring the web-site of Life Dynamics Incorporated and watching the DVD Maafa 21!!

Read all you can from the official accounts and investigations. A gigantic coverup.
If your relatives were the ones murdured you would want justice also - the passage of time has nothing to do with it.
