With all the cuts into the education funding I think it is time to make the word education refer to school subjects that will aid students in their adult life. Do away with the sports funding under the term education. One out of a thousand in school sports go on to a career in sports. When about 800 out of a thousand graduates use there education as a career. Sports are very much over rated. Bring back physical education as mandatory for the students. I played in sports while in school but never believed students should suffer because of the funds that went into the sports programs.
