One-Term was apparently confused as he didn't know how to move to the right.

This just proves he's human. It shouldn't hurt his political ambitions.

Glad no one was hurt. Apparently Perriyellow can't make a good decision on the road either.

First of all let me start by saying 'accidents happen'. Next, let me say that 29 chooses to do some very poor reporting on the story. If you check out The DP, there is a more in-depth (for the DP) story that has some quotes from Tommy Boy. His response to this incident is truly telling. Instead of admitting he screwed up, he just says that this stuff happens and it's no big deal, but he guesses since he is a politician, then it's news.
Well Tom, accidents do happen. Apologies would be nice. Not once did Tom say he was sorry for side swiping an SUV with 4 people in it making it run off the road. He makes it sound like a love tap, but then states that his truck sustained major axle damage and can't be driven. Not 'manning-up' to making a mistake speaks volumes to his character (or lack thereof). Tom said that this was his last trip on the campaign trail with his trusty truck, as it most likely won't be repaired in time for the election. Tom, I hope this is the last time we ever see you on the campaign trail with or without your truck. You need to apologize to the people you ran off the road and call it a day. Again, I know how blind spots are and am not blaming you, just sick of your pompous attitude toward others. Bye Bye Tom!

"Blind spot" is a lame excuse and shows weakness. Man up.

If one uses both mirrors (that is why they are there) there is no "blind spot".

Last pickup I saw had a huge glass window in the back, as well as a passenger window, and MAYBE a 4-5 inch pillar in between. Blind Spot? Does he have a cap on the back that prevents his using the rear window? If so, then he needs to exercise "due caution" and look multiple times. Own up to it Mr. P. You f'ed up. Of course this is the response you would expect from someone in his "exalted" position. Very Chappaquidick-like. Sounds like he and Mr Kuttner need to go back to school and learn what the rest of us are required to live by... Is it any wonder the "priviledged elites" in Washington and exempted themselves from Obama-care?

Sorry to hear about the injury to the passenger in the SUV, but happy to hear it wasn't a motorcyle in which more injury could have been caused - he should be more careful!!!

You're mistaken -- it's called a blind spot because of an obscuration that the mirrors do not reveal.

I think you are mistaken. If obstructions can't be seen, then he needs an "A" driver to clear all obstructions to the right. If he cannot see all obstructions down both sides of his vehicle, he needs new mirrors. Either that or do not leave the right lane, eliminating the need for a "blind spot" lane change.

You are mistaken - there is no blind spot. It`s called a "blind spot" by those who don`t drive well.

Anyone can make a mistake and be involved in a traffic accident. It is the response that can tell you something about the person, and in this case it is obvious that Perriello's comments were all about himself. Many politicians have learned that "I'm sorry" works wonders. Just ask Bill Clinton!!!

Quite frankly, I like the thought police. There are many people who start posting, and are professional agitators who believe they can say anything and use deragatory language to make a point. I just had one removed about me and I really did not find it offensive (did not like it). I do believe in "Freedom of Speech" but also think that the forums need to be monitored to eliminate this type of conduct. If they were not, it is unimaginable what type of "trash" we would be subjected too. I have found them to be pretty lenient. I may not agree with every post that is removed/or is not, but it is not my call!

You make good points; but do we need someone else's concept of what should and should not be posted? Maybe put a limit on how many report it as abuse before "pulling it"? The professional agitators reveal themselves for what they are through their rants. Who decides the line?
BTW, always enjoy reading your posts, even if I don't agree with you sometimes. There, that was nice, and I feel good about it.

What's wrong NBC29 don't like people telling the truth about the person you all support?
