Our Governor declares an emergency then jets to Arkansas to a fund raiser as DNC Chair.

Most would think the Governor would stay home if there was an emergency!

Time for him to pick one job or the other.

Why is everything political? This is supposed to be about the SCHOOL CLOSINGS & WEATHER!!! Maybe Kaine had other plans. And maybe he is isn't just sitting around and running away from the problems (Texas vacations for how many days?). Many people are still doing what they are normally doing today. So just sit where you are and continue to type nonsense. And just wait until the new administration comes in, we all remember what happened during that time: budgets were messed up and numerous promises were not kept (NO CAR TAX)!! I'm pretty sure that you will be back on here to fuss about that, oh I remember republicans can do no wrong, right?

Republican messed up this country. The Democrats are trying to undo what Bush did to the U.S.A.

Monique and Tom you both are so true to your words about the repub. The are democratic rejects. They did mess up the country , raise the gas and oil prices. Pocket the proceeds and then got of office and was happy as fat rats. Hey the repub made millions because both of the Bushes run the oil feilds in Texas. Maybe that would explain why we don't hear much about what Geroger Boy is doing now since he left out of office.

Here is a good common sense rule...anytime the Govenor declares a state of emergency because of weather, maybe we should keep the kids off of buses and keep them home. These flooded streets pose a definite danger to kids if a bus is caught unaware.
