Joan Benso, CEO of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children. Over the course of our lives we wait for lots of things: wait to see a doctor, wait in check-out lines, wait in traffic; some state employees may even have to wait to get paid during this budget stalemate.

So the real bottom line is the kids really won't be that negatively impacted because what the author really wants is more money to expand the government's role, not ecomomic efficiencies.

More goobly-gook from another "do-gooder". As an experienced person with this system. The waste is extensive from the Courts on down. Children are thrown around at will. Foster parents stack the kids like chips to get more of a monthly stipend so they don't have to work. Lawyers breeze thru hearings with nary a concern for child or family. Foster parenting, although well intentioned years ago, has developed into a money generating machine with little concern for the children. IT NEEDS INVESTIGATING NOW!!

You do not care about any of the children or those that even do get in the system. Sure throw them back to a screwed up family so they can grow up and be just as screwed up instead of a safe home where they will be nurtured and loved.

You wonder why there is a shortage of foster families, look in the mirror at the system they have to deal with and you will know why. The courts and so called foster agencies and children and youth care about getting money not about what is in the best interest of the child!

Joan is just a puppet for DPW’s agenda to create an inefficient/ineffective state run system for at-risk youth. Don’t be fooled by this nonsense, Joan is a lobbyist for the state under the guise of her corporation. Please call your representative if you want quality services for kids and ask that they don’t support HB 1351 and amendment 2026.

So, to keep this young lady happy, I must pay more taxes because the parents don't handle them. Why don't the parents contribute to the care and upkeep of the children? These idiots aren't taking care of their children because they are too lazy, too stupid, or any of the problems axxholes come up with. Just let them knoock out the kids and pawn them off to the rest of us with no consequences, WHY? Just like fat eddie, she only wants more money not resolution to the problem.
