That's awesome! To get out of school, all I have to do and act like I'm sick.

To me this has become an over reaction. Not a pandamic. Children get sick all the time. Unless the sick child goes to the doctor's to get tested..How does the school know that it is the flu? Maybe the policy should be reinstated when a child stays home for more than two days, should go to the doctor to get a slip to return to school. this will cause the parent's to seek medical attention, if it is the flu. Or just a child that doesn't want to go to school.

I would rather the teachers and students be safe then sorry!! That can spread so easily and would you rather one kids miss then have to shut down the entire school! Yeah there probably are fakers but you have them even at home and the parents fall for it! And its very hard to ACT sick when they have a thermometer and can tell by temperature and other symptoms!!

Hmm.. I see the good and the bad... Just wash your hands and use your head and everyone will be ok. My daughter goes to the Intermediate school in Nazareth and well I feel safe sending her to school...

I Can confirm that the swine flu is spreading in nazareth, there are 2 confirmed cases in the intermediate school, and the new middle school. Many, many kids were sent home from school today with flu like symptoms. Swine flu spreads so easily, and attacks healthiest people first and hardest. I would not dought that if this becomes more of an issue, school closings will soon follow.
