Rendell dodged the issue of paying for the taxpayer backed pension plans. He left it up to the legislators to fix the underfunded state employees pension and medical benefit fund ?

Christie gave figures of how much the average state employee paid into the fund along with a much higher amount that will be withdrawn while on pension. while facing a 90 billion in unfunded pension and health benefit promises. He isn't giving any money to schools and tells them to use their rainy day fund ?

Pa and Jersey are facing what is called a tsunami by 2012 in state worker pension and medical benefits.

Senator Bob Mellow is leaving his $110,350 job and his pension has a much higher multiplier than other state workers. His pension will most likely exceed his present salary and will be posted as soon as it is figured out.

Social Security has been raided by all sorts of maladys by people that never paid into it.

That leaves the homeowner facing a huge tax bill to pay off all the Senators , teachers and all other state workers to fund their pensions. Revolts start small and can escalate to anarchy.

So be it, this is all a wait and see problem that our legislators have to address in the near future.

"should I give back my retirement funds" I say no, but what do you do when the state is broke and no money is available except from the homeowner that can least afford it or is on unemployment.

There are no answers at present. Keep watching PCN senate at work and you'll see a lot of foot dragging while they all try to hang onto their lucrative pensions or retire before they get caught up in any proposals to change the deficit we all are facing.

Don't worry about it Storm, the chinese are way ahead of us and will be burrying us and you didn't hav to learn a word in chinese. They come over here speaking better english than we do.

Remember Khrushev telling Nixon he will burry us by tech and manufacturing. look around , he didn't do it but the Chinese are on their way .

All of Europe knows we are a war nation and don't approve of what we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan . We pay how many billions a month to keep fighting wars we don't belong in ? The big one may? be coming and we will win but there won't be much left to claim any victory for it.

Soon the GOP will take over one or both houses of congress and then Obama will be a lame duck for two years if he isn't already. Obama should have never been elected. he is too young, lacks experience, and now the people who put him in office are joining the tea party movement.
