i am sorry for the deaths and injuries to all the young people involved. but what about the older people who suffered because of the reckless driving of others. there is nothing wrong with the road, only the bad decisions by the drivers on it. thinking its a race track, not a public road. passing in a no passing zone? whats wrong with that picture?

Eff yu dude. just because they were teens doesnt mean they were messing around. they were just trying to pass a car, everyone does it even in a no passing zone. they were wonderful kids, all of them, non of them diserved this, i may have not know angelica all that well but i knew russel and that kid was one of the most loved kids in our school. even robert and peyton. the school was dead quiet today. it said it all. you shouldnt say anything about someone unless you realy know them. The driver might have made a bad choice but everyone does, so just keep your mouth shut

not every one passes on a double yellow. Some know what can happen and dont make reckless decisions. When you are coming to the crest of a hill on adouble yellow you should know better. Here is the things the lines are there for a reason, not just to waste money on paint. I dont want to start bashing people here , I know the family of angelica very well. But the driver made a very poor decision and ruined several lives because of it. The families of those kids will never be the same, because he made a reckless decision.

-not being rude read the whole thing before replying- i heard from a parent that robert was not the one driving that angelica picked them up so dont assume that it was a "he" driving, just sayin, im very sad that razz and angelica died and robo and peyton are hurt baddly. but it doesnt matter who did it and no one should press charges because either way who ever drove, if it was robert, he'd have to live with it for the rest of his life. we are all trying to get threw this, but it was no ones falt, they all went in the car high, with no seatbelts, very nice people but everyone makes bad choices EVERYONE. i dont want to argue about our loved ones, bc it happend and it cant be changed but officially they have yet to know for sure who was driving. everyone just always suspects it was robo but it wasnt his vehical. so it could have been either one.

double lines are there for a saftey reason. if not you are not responsible to obey the law then you should not drive. kids make wrong choices we all do. i hope that the two students are going to be ok and i will pray for all.

Hey moron,

"Everybody" does NOT pass in a no-passing zone. Responsible drivers know better. "Everyone" does not make bad choices either. This one cost two people their lives. That's more than a "bad choice".

And learn how to spell. As a high school student, you are an embarrassment to your school.

Dedicated Friend says "but it was no ones falt, they all went in the car high, with no seatbelts, very nice people but everyone makes bad choices"
I'm sorry...there is just so much wrong with this statement. No one to blame??? Yet, you say all were high in a car with no seatbelts, passing in a no passing zone. I do feel sorry for all the families involved. I am more upset that children are not learning about what it means to be a driver in an automobile. You are responsible for not just yourself, but for every passenger in your car as well as the others on the road. This responsibility is HUGE!!! It makes me sick when I see young kids (and old)driving like maniacs on straight a-ways for a cheap thrill. This thrill cost lives. Wake up. Someone is to blame and if our society continues to make excuses for poor decisions, the we too are to blame. When people do dumb things, people can die. Life is not a video game...sometimes, there are not second chances. For anyone reading this, make the most of the one life you are given. Consider your choices and make sure you can live with what consequences may occur.

Everyone is talking about the kids, the students, what about the others involved in the accident. Just because they are 51, they were the victims of this accident. I feel for all the families that are suffering, this is not just about the loss of two students, the other families are suffering too.
Remember, we can not change what has happened but all this about they were good people, so are all the others.

Seeing as how there is still no conclusive desicion on who was actually driving the car, I feel that all of you on here bashing certain people or talking about teenaged reckless driving is a bit premature, immature, and really pointless. Right now the families and friends of both the deceased and the injured need prayers and support, they don't need people online posting their personal opinions about and prejudices.

Certainly, no one deserves this. But to say they weren't driving wrecklessly...well, you are wrong. Truth is, they were and for some unknown reason, teens seem to think they are invicible to everything around them. Do yourself a favor...learn from your friend's mistake. Make this the moment you realize that obeying the rules and following the laws are meant to protect you. Let this be the moment you realize your life is precious and do what you can to make the most of it. You are not invincible, and fortunately, you are alive to convince others to do the same. Pay it forward...don't let your friends have died for nothing.

Some people are making some very good points...reaching out to our youth and helping them realize that life is too precious to take it for granted. Good parents would take a situation like this and turn it into a learning lesson for their children. Morbid, yes. Sad, very much so. But if we can't learn from the mistakes of others, then they died for nothing...and that's not fair, either.

We should not bash these young children. I have 4 of my own. I know, I have made mistakes and as a teen, I have been lucky. My heart goes out for everyone that this has effected. Take this situation and say a prayer for them, family, and friends. Take this loss of life and injury and hopefully help your children do the right thing. We cannot be with them every second of the day but, we can hopefully show them the right thing to do. My heart, my prayers are for everyone involved.

You have no reason to be angry! There is nothing that you could have done to change the outcome. Nothing! There are people that will push the blame on the parents and what ever! The sadness will be in your heart forever and it will make you, a better person, and you, a better parent! You will always have it in your heart. It is amazing what you can see, when you really open your eyes!

How can you post something like this to a child who is obviously grieving. This is a tragic situation and right now these people need support, prayer and thoughts. This is certainly a tragic accident.

My heart breaks for these families and their friends. I keep you in my thoughts and my prayers.

Dear Family Member,
Huge is an understatement! My oldest son did 2 tours in Irauq. I had 3 years of fear! He came home. That feeling, I dealt with it everyday! He lost 6 soldiers! They had wives and children. As a parent, we always have that fear.
I am so sorry for you loss and hope the best.

As A parent who loves her family so much,I am always very afraid to take any chances of putting myself or my family in harms way.The day will come when my children have to make their own decisions.I can only pray that as a parent they will make good decisions.I hope our children realize how much we sacrifice and love them.To the families who have suffered such a great loss and everyone else involved, you are in our prayers.

russel was a great kid. i never saw him without a smile on his face. walking through the hallways today and not seeing him was just unbelievable. the hallways were never as quiet as they were today. he will be missed but we know he is in a better place now and he will always be in our hearts. i continue to pray for the others involved in the accident and hope they make a full recovery.
