Jomo this is a true tragedy. You and your family are in my prayers. Your little girl is with God, but she will willl always be close to your heart. I'm sure you thought those same words as you and your girlfriend were OUT having dinner the night after she died... My condolences for you Mel, I can't imagine how you are coping. May God give you strength at this difficult time, considering who her father is, I'm sure you've already had your fair share of hell in the past.

has it occurred to you that maybe jomo and ashlie were OUT having dinner because they don't have a HOME to eat dinner in? it always amazes me how judgmental some idiots can be.

The Reppert family is the one who lost their neice and is paying for everything. A house can be rebuilt, a hummer can be bought again, clothes can be bought, but you cannot rebuilt or buy a 7 year old girl. This whole thing has lost its main focus, the poor little girl who lost her life.

What about a Reppert Mother loosing her daughter? A family that lost their neice? Sorry it is not about them right now. If the Uncle wants to take on the financial responsibility of the funeral that is very nice and shows that he loved that little girl dearly. So I hope he doesn't turn his kindness and love (if that is what he did )into hate.
I really don't think the Reppert family wants anything from the childs father right now.

For anyone that wants to truly help a good cause, contribute to www.PennMustangs.com/nicole.html Which is something the Reppert family has done to make something good come of such a tragic situation. This will go to a worthy cause rather than Jomo's pocket for a new Hummer. This money will be to keep Nicole's name alive.

I know from TV that drug manufacturing ingredients are flammable and women don't stay with men that hit them.

To all those who doubt Jomo Burton. He is materialistic, I'm sure even he would admit that if asked. However, he's not a murderer, and what happened was an accident. Nicole is with God now, and she's better off with God, then with either parent. She will hurt no more, she will feel no more pain. Her eternal life has begun, and may her little soul rest in peace. Whether he chooses to buy another Hummer or whoever pays for the funeral will not bring her back. Everyone should allow her mother to grieve. I'm SURE she is going through it. Because the best quote I've heard yet...is "It's a tragedy to outlive your children..." And this I'm SURE is true. I have two children myself, and I wouldn't want that....But if God takes my children tomorrow, I will know that they are in better care than me. To all the Christians out there that can comprehend this...They know EXACTLY what I mean. Children are innocent, and they go right to Heaven. How they left this world is quickly forgotten. I Pray that everyone will stop the negativity and give these parents time to grieve.

I talked to many in the fire industry and they say it does not add up. Either the fire alarms did not work although the female companion allegedly heard it or the fire is suspicious. They said regardless of the construction materials of the home, the fire would not have accelerated that fast if the smoke detectors were working. This then would lead this to being suspicious since they asked if anyone saw anything and they brought in the State Police's Fire Marshal to investigate.

This "Father" did not take care of his daughter in life and he continues to do the same in death. Materialistic is not the word, total selfishness is more appropriate. If you only knew all the terrible things he told his daughter while she was alive, I believe all this crap would stop.

“Can you hear me now?”

oh grow up.. let this little girl rest in peace, i'm sure she is not smiling down on whoever you are. in fact she is probably looking down on all this in disbelief.. let her soul rest, let her family grieve, and let her father start to rebuild his life.

When you have walked a mile in those shoes, then you have every right to criticize.
Sometimes the Truth hurts, and sometime the Truth is ugly, but the Truth is the Truth.
So be it.

unless you are jomo or mel, you dont have any right to criticize... your just an outsider looking in on an ugly situation and making it uglier.

One always looks for a reason why a child is taken so young. Maybe GOD was sparing this child from having to grow up and see her Mom and Dad hate each other. She did not ask to be born to these people. But custody battles/split famlies more times then not become ugly and the child always ends up paying. This child was spared the years of anger and hate between these two famlies. This child loved both of her parents like every other 7 year old does.

People are having fundraisers for Jomo because they want to he is not having them for himself! I personally had a benefit for Jomo and I dont care if he uses it to rebuild his house, put a down payment on a new hummer or takes Ashley to Hawaii for a month! People that gave money did so because they wanted to because Jomo opened his door to people.....helped people.....Jomo is the type of friend that if you needed a shirt he would take the one off his back and give it to you...thats why people are giving him their shirts now. Thats what Gods people do!!

Too bad he didn't "open his door" to his daughter or "helped" his daughter. Instead he threatened her.
