Storm,
Can't you see the contradiction you've become. The Dow is up because it's part of the recovery plot without jobs.
I agree with you about the plot. I always thought there was something behind this recession. How could the economy be rolling along, DOW at 14000 and then all of a sudden the DOW is at 6500. We gave bank bailouts and now the bigwigs are getting huge bonuses. What is your take I am curious why you called it the recovery plot.

If I had as much information as you think I do I may be ble to give you a more believable answer, but I don't have the info.

For starters we have the American Steel Exec's siting in Europe dividing all the poor countries with our money to develop steelmaking and other industries. It all goes on in Brussels Belgium behind closed doors with all the money and favors passed back and forth. Obama is being used to keep the American people quieted down while we become more socialized. Democracy isn't working in this country and has never workre the way our founding fathers set it down in writing.

Look how Rome screwed up ? They were all the way to 3/4 of England and had to build Hadrians wall to keep the hourds of Scots, Welsh and English away from cutting their throats. Which in fact we did anyway while their leaders sat on their butts and let democracy fail.

History books are full of lies ,only made up stories that are easy to read between the lines.

I usually don't mention names but if Bill Tattersall is still around he could tell you more about the decline of industry in America. He sat on the commission in Brussels Belgium and was great teacher for me.

Enough of convoluted history , do you want to hear the real story of Texas, Santa Anna , The Alamo and Sam Houston. The list is huge Storm and I'm sure you and other people aren't as interested in how our decline is going to take place.

once, in the same post but you hit the wrong keys the second time you spelled it. clip your fingernails if you have any left from chewing them off.
Don't let it get to you Storm, we wouldn't have anyone with your guts to stay on here.

I'm curious also Storm .
Why would the school board agree to a meeting with the strikers on Monday when they've already given them notice many times over of their last best offer? They sure aren't impressing the already strapped residents of Hellertown with this outrageous contract that is still on the table and retroactive pay for the teachers to the end of their contract 14 or more months ago ? We all want a full replacement of SV without being cornholiowed with it.

That was a surprise to me also. If I was the leader of the teachers, I would not meet for any reason. The board Pueta) put the final offer and when he made that statement of "final offer:" that is it. No more discussions even if the ministerium gets involved. This strike is going the full term and what will be will be. All residents in these United States are strapped not just Hellertown. Now we have the tax and spend democrats running the gov't. If you are worried about this strike, this is nothing compared to what Obama has in store for you. He is still pres. for another 3 years and one month. At this rate, the dollar will be worth nothing, China will be the new economic superpower if it isn't already and we will be paying 4.00 for gas agian. Where is Pickens who was going to come up with all these alternative energy sources. What ever happened to off-shore drilling?

People lost thousands in this recessions and all Obama is worried about is healthcare. Wait until you get your bill for that.

One other thing, from all I remember from strikes, the pay is going to be retroactive to 14 months ago. If it isn't there will be another stike as soon as the law allows it to be called.

Very good post John . Added to this list will be Obamas Czars .

Another word for his merry gang of thieves could be Einsatzgruppen, but we won't know about it til it's too late. With all the billions that was just printed money to put us in debt for generations ,do you think Obama really cares ?

So we're partners in all the banks and auto industry that is slowly being taken over by the Government.

Managed health care will be a camp surrounded by barbed wire and the only doctor you see will be a health Czar doing experiments on you.

The last offer from the board included retro pay and the whole contract is overly generous.

Who knows what may be in the mix come Monday ? If the teachers accept the last offer our taxes will be taking off again. Sure the parents of students want their kids back in school and the teachers are using that as a diving board into the pockets of the homeowner that can least afford it.

They'll be glad to get their kids in school but broke when they can't rob the kids piggy bank to pay the school tax.

Things are worse now Puerta than they were when you said that offer isn't there any more . Take the whole contract away, everyone gets paid , even custodians and teachers. The tax es haven't changed anything and the students will get their 180 days of instruction. You know no matter what happens your taxes are going to go up .

Did anyone figure out an average retro pay for 14 months . It will vary by pay scale but I'm willing to bet it could huge.
