The real issue that we need to be discussing is why SRMC has 50% of its revenue generated by Medicare/Medicaid in the first place.

According to the article, 90% of all births at SRMC are paid for by Medicaid. On what planet is it acceptable? Where's the father? Parents? Responsibility? Birth control?

Does anyone not see the elephant in the room here?

It's the entitlement culture, stupid.

You can blame whomever/whatever you want. Facts are facts, and fact is without medicaid people will die, mostly old people and babies. On what planet is that acceptable? Oh wait, on the republican planet it is ok to let the poor die, to bad so sad for granny and the little children. When the hospital closes I guess it will be to bad for all of us. Tell the republicans NO WAY!

The biggest problem in Summersville is Debbie Hill. She has poor judgement.

In the past, people sought health care because they were sick. Now the medical-industrial complex seeks patients. It encourages those with minor symptoms to be evaluated and urges those who feel well to get “checked”— just to make sure nothing is wrong.

This should teach doctors a lesson, do you know how much they milk them after what you pay if any? They bill them atleast three time?s on small accounts! You people gab to much, it isnt the presidents or republicans if thats the case then we are the blame.. Were the voters lol i just moved from there and now see the differences.. Hospitals here make you pay atleast fifty dollars before they will see you if its not life threatening! And have you all been on topix anywhere else? You?ll find more grown up discussions rather than summersvilles slandering and belly aching! Yall make up wayy too many stories no wonder they make wrong turn movies about wv lol
