Why is it that when someone tries to do something nice for the city of lockport, they find a way to shut it down? And I'm talking about the new semi-pro football team in Lockport called the Rage. Now I hear that the president of Lockport little loop dont want them back for reasons that never happened. I wonder what ever happened to the money that they made off of these guys that had to pay them $600 per game and NOT get a percentage of the consessions. they had to have made around $6000. And I know for a fact that their were scouts from arena teams as far as Green Bay at the Lockport Rage recent tryouts and combine. And the scout told them that they are getting attention from NFL teams as well as local Arena teams for some of the players. I dont want to be the one to have to tell these young men that there chance of going somewhere in a sport they have to pay to play is going to be gone because of political reasons. Its a shame that things like this happen. I for one liked having something to do on saturday nights, instead of the same ole thing in boring Lockport. Football has gone back from the Esso's to the Invaders, and now after 1 year and about 80 people on the team now, the Rage. This city is a joke and I really hope it turns around and bites them in the........!

Ok, mis-informed, think of this.. the lockport invaders played there and had the lights put in. So can I say the lights are for the men and not the kids? The invaders used to locker rooms, and thats when john lombardi was apart of that team. The rage rent tents for locker rooms and dont use them. The other semi-pro football team back in the 70's used that field to , called the lockport essos. So the use of the field by just kids is kinda dumb. because if you think little loop isnt making money at the concession stand off the rage, your nuts. And dont you see the arena scouts at there games? One got signed last year, and this year they are having a tryout with 6 arena teams and 3 CFL teams for all players from ny, PA, OH can attend? So i thik they got there stuff together. What would you suggest to have them do more?

And by the way.. the buffalo gladiators played on that feld too.... Do you realize that the city gets revenue, from other teams spending money on gas, food, hotels, and things like that? WHy cant anybody do anything thats good for people and the city? Some of these players can really make it somewhere in football if giving the chance and thts exactly what they got with the rage. I guess ya cant make everybody happy.

the rage should not be allowed to play there it is a team of druggies and criminals and they shouldnt be allowed be be around those kids and families.the language and lack of class from the owner to the players is evident at every game. get your own field and stop whining
